If all goes well, then latest Nexus 9 tablet will be making its way to India around second week of next month at its listed price of Rs 28,990. According to media reports, Google will make its Nexus 9 tablet available in India for sale from November 12, give or take a day.
Earlier this week, we came across the Nexus 9 tablet, listed on Google Play devices section for India region, wherein the 16 GB variant was priced at Rs 28,990 and Rs 44,990 for the 32 GB LTE variant. If the reported time frame has any valid credibility, then for the first time a Nexus tablet will be making its way to the country, and that too within month of it’s official announcement. It remains to be seen that if the 32 GB model will also be available for buyers in India and we’ll know about that in the coming weeks.
Compared to previous Nexus 7 tablets, the Nexus 9 is a HTC-first product in the Nexus arena with Google and one of the higher priced devices from the company. At Rs 28,990, the 8.9-inch Nexus 9 tablet is not competing with the Apple iPad Mini line up but owing to its hardware capability, the iPad Air series comes into the picture as well.
