Facebook is making handling the multitude of social media accounts much easier by integrating comments and messages from Pages, Messenger and Instagram into one unified inbox, in its Pages Manager mobile app. Facebook announced the feature on its Facebook For Business blog.

With the unified inbox, you will see all your messages and comments in one place, so you don’t miss out on responding to your audience. The feature will be a lifesaver for businesses and social media mascots to keep a track of all reactions and interactions on all channels to offer better support.

The inbox will appear after you update your Page Manager app. Once done, tap on the messaging icon on the bottom of the Page in the app. You will see a tabbed interface divided into Facebook comments, visitor posts, reviews, messages and comments on Instagram. In addition, you can also view profile information about people who have contacted you.

The unified inbox will help deal with multiple channels of social media and it was a long time coming, considering Facebook owns two of the most popular social media channels itself. The feature will roll out in the weeks to the Pages Manager app on iOS and Android and will eventually come to other platforms as well.
